The three Out of Sight books concentrate on common words that children need when first learning to read. The first book works on 45 words such as to, can, and go, and has 105 pages. The second book, Further Out of Sight, has 113 pages, carries on from the first book and covers more common words. The third book, Completely Out of Sight, has 152 pages and covers all the words in the first two books but with more emphasis on spelling. The sheets use a small steps approach. This book is full of tasks pupils enjoy, such as finding mistakes, marking and correcting texts. It is perfect to use alongside Stop it! as it consolidates skills using a different approach.
